You may withdraw consent for an optional use, such as marketing or promotional photography, by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect information already used lawfully and may not apply where information must be retained for a contract, warranty, safety, insurance, tax or legal obligation.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and the third-party services connected to it may use cookies, pixels, local storage, logs or similar technologies. These technologies can support essential website functions, form security, preferences, traffic measurement, service improvement and advertising.
Where required, non-essential technologies will be controlled through a cookie-consent tool. You may also change browser settings, although blocking essential technologies may affect website functions. The exact tools used can change as the website is updated; the cookie settings or cookie notice should identify current categories and providers.
Aurxio does not sell customer lists or personal information for money. If applicable law treats certain advertising technology disclosures as a "sale," "sharing" or targeted advertising, Aurxio will provide the required notice and opt-out choice.
7. Job Photographs, Video and Recordings
Aurxio may take photographs or video that are reasonably necessary to document site condition, equipment condition, safety, installation progress, concealed work, serial numbers, deficiencies and completed work. These operational records are kept in the job file and are not the same as marketing consent.
Aurxio will not use identifiable interior photographs, customer names, addresses, licence plates, faces or confidential business information in advertising without separate permission. Marketing permission is optional and may be withdrawn for future use.
8. Security Systems and Customer Recordings
After a CCTV, access-control, intercom or similar system is handed over, the customer normally controls the recordings, accounts, users and retention settings. Aurxio does not continuously monitor customer systems or view recordings unless a separate written support or monitoring agreement authorizes it.
During installation or support, Aurxio personnel may temporarily access a live view, configuration screen, device account or sample recording to test the system. Access will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the service. Customers should change temporary passwords and review user access after handover.

10. Service Providers and Cross-Border Processing
Aurxio is based in Canada, but some service providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States or other countries. Information in another country may be subject to lawful access by courts, law-enforcement or government authorities in that jurisdiction.
Aurxio selects service providers based on business need and uses contractual, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and service. Contact the Privacy Officer for information about service-provider categories or cross-border processing.
11. Safeguards
Aurxio uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Measures may include access controls, account authentication, encrypted transmission where appropriate, device security, restricted job-file access, backups, staff or contractor confidentiality obligations and secure disposal.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free. Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers or highly sensitive information through ordinary email or text unless Aurxio specifically requests a secure method.
12. Retention
Aurxio keeps personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legal, tax, insurance, warranty, safety and dispute requirements.
As a general practice, unanswered or inactive inquiries may be retained for up to 24 months, while contracts, invoices, project records, warranty documents and related job photographs may be retained for up to seven years after completion or longer where a legal, insurance or active-dispute requirement applies. Marketing consent records are retained while communications continue and for a reasonable period afterward to document an unsubscribe request.
Information is securely deleted, anonymized or destroyed when it is no longer required.
13. Access, Correction and Other Requests
You may ask to access personal information Aurxio holds about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw optional consent, ask a privacy question or make a complaint. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to deletion, portability, restriction, objection or an appeal.
Aurxio may need to verify identity before responding. Some information may be withheld or retained where law permits or requires, including information about another person, privileged information, security-sensitive records or documents required for a contract, warranty, tax, insurance or legal claim.
Send requests to info@aurxio.com with the subject line "Privacy Request."

If Aurxio becomes aware of unauthorized access, use or disclosure, it will investigate, take reasonable containment and corrective steps, and notify affected individuals, regulators or other parties where required by applicable law.
17. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Links to social media, maps, review platforms, payment pages, manufacturers or other websites are governed by those providers' privacy practices. Aurxio is not responsible for a third party's independent handling of information.
